O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to submit the final report by framing necessary charge sheet with reference to the complaint dated 07.07.2017 registered as FIR No.232/2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-State.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.232 of 2017 on 10.07.2017 for the offences under Sections 294-B, 323 and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002, against Mala and two others.

4. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent police to complete https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the investigation in Crime No.232 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided, there is no any other legal impediment.
