O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by order dated 12.07.2018 passed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.MP.No.11082 of 2018.

2. The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.374 of 2018 for the offences under Sections 294-B, 323 and 506(i) IPC. The petitioner filed Crl.MP.No.11082 of 2018 under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail, in which, the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, by order dated 12.07.2018, granted anticipatory bail to the petitioners, on certain conditions, one of which is that the petitioners shall stay at Thiruvallur and report before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thiruvallur, daily at 10.30 a.m. for a period of one month. This petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking modification of the above said condition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view that the interest of justice will be served, if the aforesaid condition is modified to that effect that the petitioners shall report before the respondent police everyday at 10.30 a.m. for a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

period of two weeks and thereafter, as and when required. Rest of the conditions imposed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, shall remain the same. Two weeks time is extended from the date of receipt of a copy of this order for complying with the order dated 12.07.2018 passed by the Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai in Crl.MP.No.11082 of 2018.
