ORDER

Today, the matter is listed under the caption "for modification", at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that as per the order passed by this Court, the petitioner was permitted to appear before the Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai, from the refuge camp at Trichy. Therefore, he again sought a direction in this regard.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case is now ripe for trial at Uthukottai and has been posted for trial on 19.06.2025. The condition was already modified, and the petitioner was directed to report before the District Munsif-cum-Judicial Magistrate, Uthukottai, until the completion of the trial. However, due to improper communication of the order to the refugee camp, the petitioner was unable to comply the same.

4. Considering all these facts, the petitioner is once again permitted to stay at Uthukottai and shall appear before the Judicial Magistrate Uthukottai, every Monday until the completion of the trial. On all other weekdays, he is directed to appear before the Town Police, Uthukottai at 6.00 p.m.
