O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.1,03,175/- towards surrender of Earned Leave salary which he surrendered in August, 2018 and August, 2019 with interest.

2.The case of writ petitioner is that the petitioner retired from service on 31.01.2020 on reaching the age of superannuation. While he was in service, the petitioner surrendered 15 days of Earned Leave in August, 2018, and August, 2019 to the value of Rs.38,515/- and Rs.43,824/- respectively and the same has not been paid to the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition.

3.Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the entire terminal benefits have been paid to the petitioner and if there is any eligible amount payable to the petitioner, the same will be paid to the petitioner.

4.In such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to pay the petitioner the balance amount, if any, payable to the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
