The matter is listed today under the caption "for being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel that instead of panel, it has been wrongly mentioned as seniority list in the relevant paragraphs viz., 2 to 4 of the order dated 16.02.2026, and therefore, he prayed for necessary corrections.
3. Learned Standing Counsel for respondents 2 to 4 has no objection to carry out the said corrections.
4. In view of the stand taken by learned counsel on either side and as the errors are typographical in nature, para 2 to 4 shall stand substituted with the following paragraphs :-
2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are working as Junior
Assistants in the second respondent TASMAC and those who have passed book keeping and accountancy test are entitled to be promoted to the posts of Assistant, however, no promotion has been granted. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to prepare a panel containing list of persons fit for promotion to the posts of Assistant as such persons who are possessed of book keeping and accountancy test are entitled for increment.
3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 4 submits that appropriate order will be passed with regard to drawal of panel for promotion to the posts of Assistant and that such persons who are entitled for increment on completion of Book keeping and Accountancy Test would be granted the said increment.
4. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition and as the respondents also fairly submit that such list would be prepared, the second respondent is directed to prepare a panel containing list of persons fit for promotion to the posts of Assistant within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, the persons who are possessed of a pass in Book Keeping and Accountancy Test shall also be granted increment, subject to their eligibility in accordance with law. Further, it is made clear that the respondents Corporation have no right to reject the claim of the
petitioners, merely on the ground that they have filed the case before the Court.
5. Registry is directed to carry out aforesaid corrections and issue fresh order copy to the parties.

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents either to promote all the petitioners as Assistants in the existing vacancies or to upgrade the post of Junior Assistants which they are holding as Assistants with the scale of pay, pay and allowances and all other consequential benefits as applicable to the post of Assistants, either from the date of completion of three years of service as Junior Assistants and to promote them as Assistant Manager in the existing vacancies by relaxing the existing qualifying service of five years as Assistants to three years, based on the seniority in the post of Assistants.

4. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition and as the respondents also fairly submit that such list would be prepared, the second respondent is directed to prepare a seniority list of
