Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the entire records pertaining to the impugned demand notice No.R9/822/99 dated 25.02.2011, on the file of the respondent No.3 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to issue a fresh demand notice without fixing exorbitant cost and interest except to fix the enhanced compensation if any paid to the original land owner from whom the land of the petitioner had been acquired and if the compensation is not yet fixed, to issue the Sale Deed in the light of the resolution passed by the respondents Housing Board No.6.02 dated 30.01.1991 (S2/57748/89) for the petitioner's allotted HIG 52, Muthampalayam, Phase II, Erode District within a time frame.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted a letter dated 26.03.2018 to the Registry seeking permission of this Court to post the above writ petition for withdrawal.

2. The matter is listed today under the heading for withdrawal. When the matter is taken up today, a similar request is made before this Court and an endorsement has also been made to that effect.
