ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to pay the petitioner a sum of R.55,373/- towards surrender of earned leave salary, which he surrendered in February 2019 with interest.

2. The case of writ petitioner is that the petitioner retired from service on 29.02.2020 on reaching the age of superannuation. While he was in service, the petitioner surrendered 15 days of earned leave in February 2019 to the value of Rs.42,525/- and the same has not been paid to the petitioner. Hence, this Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the entire terminal benefits have paid to the petitioner and whatever eligible amount payable to the petitioner, the same will be paid to the petitioner.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondent is directed to pay the 2/4

balance amount, if any, payable to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
