ORDER
The petitioner, apprehending life threat in the hands of the respondent No.3 to 5, is before this Court seeking Police protection.
2. The second respondent Police has filed a status report in respect of the complaint filed by the petitioner herein and the counter complaint filed against the petitioner. Further, the second respondent Police stated that as of now, there is no threat to the life of the petitioner.
3. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner states that after transfer of the investigation to CBCID, there is continuous threat over phone and some suspicious persons are seen near the house of the petitioner during odd hours.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) stated that to instill confidence in the mind of the petitioner herein, the respondent Police will open a patta passbook and have periodical surveillance of the house. 2/4
