ORDER

Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties.

2. Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 27.03.2026, Mr.G.Shanmugasundraram, the Executive Engineer of the Zone-XII, Greater Chennai Corporation appeared in person before this Court today and filed a status report dated 07.04.2026 on behalf of the Greater Chennai Corporation.

3. The learned counsel for the first respondent submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 27.03.2026, the respondent / Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation Limited [TNPDCL] in order to comply with the order of this Court dated 23.03.2026, has addressed a letter dated 01.04.2026 to the second respondent, wherein it has advised the respondents 2 & 3 to make an online application for DCW Transformer shifting along with online registration fees and application charges i.e., for shifting the transformer in issue from the subject property and to relocate the same in some other place.

4. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 & 3 / Greater Chennai Corporation submitted that the respondents Corporation has sent a letter dated 27.03.2026 to the TANGEDCO authorities to

take immediate steps to relocate the transformer in issue from the subject property. He further submitted that the order passed by this Court dated 23.03.2026 will be implemented by the Greater Chennai Corporation, within a period of four weeks, for which the first respondent has no objection and they are taking necessary steps to comply the same within a reasonable time and has sought further time.

5. Recording the submissions of the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents 2 and 3, the matter stands adjourned to 02.06.2026. Registry is directed to list the matter under the caption "for reporting compliance" on 02.06.2026.
