Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in No.1125/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 3.11.2016, whereby the detenue, namely Prakash, son of Vijayan, aged abut 32 years, was confined at Central Prison-II, Puzhal, Chennai.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 03.11.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.6440, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department dated 22.12.2016, and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous. (N.R.R.J.,) (S.M.S.J.,) 13.06.2017 rpa
