ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) By order dated 26.11.2025, the sentence imposed on the petitioners qua judgment dated 25.04.2024 in SC No. 135 of 2018 by the District and Sessions Court, Mayiladuthurai was suspended and bail granted to petitioner with certain conditions.

2. There is no dispute on the position that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions thus far including para (iii) which requires appearance on every Monday at 10.30 am until the disposal of the appeal or in the alternate to seek dispensation of their appearance.

3. Mr.A.Amarnath, learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side), confirms the aforesaid position.

4. In light of the aforesaid, condition (iii) relating to weekly appearance is relaxed and stands modified to read that 'the petitioner shall appear on the first working day of every Month before the trial Court or in the alternate shall make arrangements to file application under Section 317 Cr PC and appear before the trial Court on any other day in lieu of the date on which he was absent'.

5. This petition is ordered accordingly.
