ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by NOOTY.RAMAMOHANA RAO,J) This writ petition has been instituted seeking a direction not to transfer the alleged detenu from Central Prison, Puzhal II to any other far off prison.

2. Mr.V.M.R.Rajendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who has received instructions, informs us at the bar that the said detenu has already been released from the prison on 11.4.2017 itself.

3. In view of this piece of information, we are of the opinion that the cause in this writ petition does not survive and accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
