ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition, though couched in general terms, the specific prayer made is regarding removal of encroachments in Thulakanathamman Kovil Street, Kottur, Chennai-85, Zone 13 of the Corporation of Chennai. The counter-affidavit filed by the Corporation of Chennai states that encroachments have been removed.
2. Much time has passed and thus, we consider it appropriate to direct the Corporation of Chennai to re-examine and ensure that re-encroachments do not occur and if there are encroachments so made, to remove them forthwith in accordance with law within a maximum period of one month of the receipt of this order.
3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
