PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records relating to the detention order made in C3/D.O./62/2024 on the file of District Collector and direct Magistrate of Cuddalore District at Cuddalore dated 06.07.2024 in detaining the detenu namely, Sakthivel, aged 50, Son of Kaliyamoorthy, Main Road, Vadagrampondi, Tittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District as "Sand Offender" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to produce the corpus of the detenu namely, sakthivel, Son of Kaliyamoorthy, aged 50 years, who is detained at Central prison, Cuddalore before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
