ORDER
The writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pass orders granting approval of appointment of the petitioner as BT Assistant (History) in the 4 th respondent school, based on the proposal submitted by the 4 th respondent school dated 06.06.2023, with all consequential and other attendant benefits including the arrears of salary from the date of initial appointment on 08.02.2023.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 4 th respondent school is a religious minority institution and the petitioner is working as a BT Assistant in History. The counsel further submits that the Page No.2 of 6
school had submitted a proposal for approval of the petitioner's appointment on June 6, 2023, through the proper channel, which is still pending with the respondents.
3. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader would fairly submit that they would consider the proposal submitted by the 4 th respondent within a reasonable time.
4. It is brought to the attention of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondents are objecting to the petitioner's appointment on the grounds that the petitioner has not qualified in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). However, the learned Special Government pleader submitted that the requirement of TET qualification may not be applicable in this case.
5. In such view of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the proposal dated 06.06.2023 and pass orders and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from Page No.3 of 6
the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stand disposed of. No costs.
