The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for offences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 IPC in Crime No.2 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. It is seen that there are totally eight accused in this case, in which the petitioner is arrayed as A8. The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant, who is the Deputy Director, Advocate General of Tamilnadu, High Court of Madras alleging that the accused persons created, forged the documents and committed cheating by issuing fake appointment orders in the name of the Office of Advocate General of Tamilnadu, High Court of Madras. On investigation, it was found that the fake appointment orders were created and issued in the name of Registrar General of Madras High Court and the Office of Advocate General by using their signatures and seals. The specific allegation against the petitioner is that she had collected amount nearly from 20 members for the post of Magisterial Clerk and handed over the sum collected to the main accused and she had received commission from the main accused. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit
that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that based upon the confession statement of the co-accused, she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the specific allegation as against the petitioner is that she has collected a sum of Rs.78,00,000/- from 13 victims and received a sum of Rs.26,00,000/- as commission. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner, this Court finds that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
