Nos.2465 of 2016 and 2136 of 2017 in CRP (PD) 648 of 2020 dated 14.2.2020 pending on the file of IV Additional Family Court at Chennai.(IN CMP.No.17792/2021) Order : This petition coming on for Extension of time on the Twenty Seventh day of October Two Thousand Twenty One and persuing the earlier order date of 14/02/2020 in the presence of M/S.S.

VEERARAGHAVAN, Advocate for the Petitioner, this court made the following order:- This petition is filed seeking extension of time for 3 months to dispose O.P.Nos.2465 of 2016 and 2136 of 2017 in C.R.P.(PD) No.648 of 2020 dated 14.02.2020 pending on the file of the learned IV Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, this Court had given a direction in C.R.P.(PD)No.648 of 2020 to dispose O.P.Nos.2465 of 2016 and 2136 of 2017 within a period of six months. The order was passed on 14.02.2020. We are in the fag end of October, 2021. Still, the petition has not been disposed of by the learned IV Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai. At this stage, the petitioner has come up with this petition for further extension of three (3) months. However, if the learned IV Additional Judge, is not able to comply with the direction of this Court issued on 14.02.2020, it is for the learned IV Additional Judge, to seek extension of further time. It is not known as to why such a request is not received from the learned IV Additional Judge. However, the learned IV Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai, is directed to comply https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with the order and dispose the case as mandated above and report compliance.

In such view of the matter, this petition cannot be entertained. Therefore, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
