Petition filed under Section 439(2) of Cr.P.C., seeking to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.2277 of 2018 on the file of the Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, dated 17.07.2018 and cancel the bail to the first respondent by allowing this criminal original petition.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to set aside the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.2277 of 2018 by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, dated 17.07.2018 and to cancel the bail granted to the first respondent by allowing this criminal original petition.

2.The petitioner has filed this petition seeking to cancel the bail granted to her husband/ first respondent on the ground that the petitioner was attacked by the first respondent indiscriminately, due to which, she sustained grievous injuries and has taken treatment.

3.However, the learned counsel appearing for the parties would jointly represent that the first respondent has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- to the petitioner and hence, this Court without going into the merits of the case, may close this petition.

4.In such view of the settlement now arrived at between the parties, this criminal original petition is closed with direction to the first respondent/ husband to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) to the petitioner by way of demand draft drawn in favour of the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
