Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st to 5th respondents to issue Provisional Certificate and degree certificate to petitioner and further directing the 1st to 5th respondents to pay compensation as sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to petitioner for wandering for past 6 years. ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this petition for a direction to the respondents to issue his Provisional Certificate for the BBM course which he did with the fourth respondent.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has completed the said course in 2014 but, the University is yet to issue the Provisional Certificate.

3.Mr.C.Vigneswaran, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 made a submission on instructions that the petitioner had joined the BBM course with the fourth respondent in 2012 and had completed the course without completing his practical examinations. He has now paid the fee for his practical examination on 29.06.2023. The learned counsel added that the practical examination are scheduled to commence later this month. He also added that the Writ is badly hit by latches.

4.At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks the leave of the Court to withdraw this Petition.
