Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to issue individual Patta in favour of the petitioner for 25 cents in Survey No.66/1, 97 Cents in Survey No. 150 and 2/10 share in a well situated in Survey No.67 at Kolapalli Village, Walajah Division, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District and pass orders.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the Respondents to issue individual Patta in favour of the petitioner for 25 cents in Survey No.66/1, 97 Cents in Survey No. 150 and 2/10 share in a well situated in Survey No.67 at Kolapalli Village, Walajah Division, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the official respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel appearing for either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner purchased the subject property vide Document No.711 of 1995 on the file of S.r.O. Katpadi, Vellore District. After the purchase of the property some third parties filed a suit in O.S.No.378 of 1995 on the file of District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate-I, Walajah in the subject property and the same was decreed in favour of the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same the third parties filed an Appeal A.S.No.03 of 2001 on the file of Sub Court, Ranipet, and the same 2/5
was allowed. Hence the petitioner preferred an appeal before this Court in S.A.1985 of 2003 and the same was allowed and the order passed in O.S.No.378 of 1995 on the file of District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate-I, Walajah was confirmed and the order passed in A.S.No.03 of 2001 on the file of Sub Court, Ranipet was set aside. Hence the petitioner made a representation dated 25.01.2021 to the first respondent for grant of patta, however, till date there was no progress in issuing patta. Hence, this writ petition is filed with the aforesaid prayer.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2021 and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2021 will be considered within a reasonable time fixed by this Court. 3/5

Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above terms, this present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
