Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments made by the respondents 6 to 9 in government lands located in S.Nos.77 (waterbody) and S.Nos.107, 108, 109, 110, 111 (common) in A.Komarapalayam Village in Pethanayakkanpalayam, (TK) in Salem District as per Rules. ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.J.Sushil Rajkumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5.

2. Encroachments are alleged by the petitioner.

3. Learned State Government Pleader, on instructions of the Tahsildar, submits that the lands would be measured on 20.12.2023 and after measurement and survey, if encroachments are found, steps would be taken, in accordance with law, for removal of the same.
