Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under 226 of the Constitution of India to calling upon the production of the records, relating to the detention order dated 02.04.2016 made in detention order in No.387/BCDFGISSSV/2016 passed by the 2nd respondent herein quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu Ms.Parveen Taj, aged 26/2016 who has been detained in central prison for Women at Puzhal, Chennai, and set at liberty.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by NOOTY.RAMAMOHANA RAO, J.) Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the second respondent vide Proceedings in No.387/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 02.04.2016, whereby the detenue, namely Parveen Taj, daughter of Mohammed Ishaq, aged about 26 years, was detained under Goondas Act and confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 02.04.2016 has been revoked by the Government vide G.O. Lr. No.4709, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XIII) Department, dated 13.04.2016, and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
