The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.05.2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 305(a), 331(4) of BNS Act in Crime No.170 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner trespassed into the house of the defacto complainant and committed theft of Rs.2,00,000/- and the gold jewels weighing 2.5 kg and other silver articles. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that, petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner. He further submitted that the petitioner has 14 previous cases in his credit.

5. Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
