O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed to regularise the service of the petitioner with effect from the date of completion of 240 days i.e., from 1/1/2000 in view of the settlement arrived, under Section 12 (3) of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947
2. According to the petitioner, he has put in more than 240 days of service and by virtue of the same, he is entitled to be regularised in service. After several litigations before this Court, again made a representation dated 21/4/2023 to regularise the service of the petitioner. As the said 2/4
representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner has come forward with the instant writ petition praying for the relief as stated therein.
3. Heard Mr.D.Soundar Raj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Sivasubramani, learned counsel for the respondent.
4. Without expressing any opinion on the claim of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21/4/2023, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
