O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner and his wife based on his representation dated 12.07.2018. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that he was in love with one Ersline Siebert and they got married on 28.05.2018 and that, it is an inter-religious marriage. While so, it is alleged by the petitioner that the relatives of Ersline Siebert are harassing and threatening them. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

4.The fact remains that the petitioner is a 3rd year student and is hardly 21 years of age. Ersline Siebert is also a student aged about 20 years. Therefore, the parents will be anxious to know about the whereabouts of their daughter. Under such circumstances, this Court directs the petitioner to approach the 2nd respondent Police and give a complaint on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into by calling all the parties and the 2nd respondent shall ensure that no harm befalls the petitioner and Ersline Siebert.
