This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.167 of 2014. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. 3.Today, Mr.Paranthaman, Inspector of Police, Vettavalam Police Station is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Government Advocate submitted the investigation in Crime No.167 of 2014 is almost completed and the draft Charge Sheet is ready.

4.In view of the above, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.167 of 2014 within a three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or Closure Report as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any legal impediment.
