(Order of the court was made by R.Mahadevan, J.) These miscellaneous petitions have been filed by the petitioner seeking to condone the delay of 1761 days in re-presenting the above Tax cases.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the affidavits filed in support of these petitions, wherein, it has been stated that the Tax cases were filed on 20.09.2018 and the same were returned by the Registry for want of certain compliance. Due to some procedural issues, the papers have not been represented before the Registry, within the time stipulated and in this process, there is a delay of 1761 days occurred, which is neither wilful nor wanton and therefore, the same may be condoned.

3. Having regard to the reasons stated by the petitioner, which appear to be bona fide, considering the huge delay in filing these tax cases, we are inclined to condone the delay subject to payment of costs of Rs.2,000/- each, by the petitioner to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras, within a week's time from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
