The Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent-Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2017 dated 28.10.2017 and file final report before the Special Judge, TNPID Court, Chennai, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. Admittedly, the petitioner is the de-facto complainant, on whose complaint, the respondent-Police had registered a case in Crime No.11 of 2017 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 409 and 420 IPC and Section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 on 28.10.2017, but chargesheet/final report is not yet filed till date.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.11 of 2017 and file a final report as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a 2/4
