Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to frame common guidelines and instructions in accordance with the provisions of Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and Rules

made thereunder, and strictly adhere the same and further direct introduction of e-auction [on-line auction] for all the tenders issued by the District Federations attached to the 2nd respondent with respect to transport of milk from Rural areas to Chilling Centres at Chennai.

Heard the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned.

2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that necessary steps are being taken by the respondents concerned for awarding tenders, for transporting milk from the rural areas to the chilling centres, in Chennai.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as no further orders are necessary, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
