The petition is to quash the FIR in Crime No.209 of 2021 dated 13.08.2021 for the alleged offences under Sections 3 (iv) of Motor Spirit and High-Speed Diesel (Regulation of Supply and Distribution and Prevention of Malpractices) Order, 1998 and Section 7 (1) (a) (ii) of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 on the file of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Pollachi.

2. It is reported by Mr. A. Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor that pursuant to the investigation, final report has been filed in C.C.No.2593 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate - IV, Coimbatore. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition.
