O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection for the renovation of tiled roof work of the petitioner's house situated in S.No.185/2B1A1A at Pudhu Street, Line-5 Tharamangalam, Omalur Taluk, Salem District based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 08.09.2021.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that he is residing in the property for the past 30 years. The above house is a tiled roof house. As the tiled rooftop damaged, she decided to renovate the same. While so, the third respondent, who is the adjacent land owner is intervening and causing hindrance to the roof work. Hence, she made a complaint, but no action has been taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner and the third respondent are neighbors and there is a dispute between them and hence, the complaint.

4. In view of the same, this Court directs the second respondent Police to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and also to the property in dispute as prayed for in this petition.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
