With the consent of both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey the lands in Survey Nos.19/11, 19/12, 19/13, 19/14, 20/6, 20/6D1 to an extent of 32 3⁄4 cents at Thamamanaickenpatti Village, Salem South Taluk, Salem District, in view of the petitioner's application No.2024/0123/08/003504 dated 03.07.2024.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased the property to an extent of 32 3⁄4 cents in Survey Nos.19/11, 19/12, 19/13, 19/14, 20/6, 20/6D1 at Thamamanaickenpatti Village, Salem South Taluk, Salem District, vide sale deed registered as Document No.1017 of 2022 dated 17.02.2022 and he is in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the said property till date. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has made an application to survey the land and paid necessary charges on 03.07.2024 in Application No.2024/0123/08/003504 and has also made representation to survey the abovesaid lands, the same has not been 2/4

considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.07.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other parties interested, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
