Crime No.46 of 2026 ..Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Section 530 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner to report before the Inspector of Police, B2, Meenakshi Amman Temple Police Station, Madurai Main Road, Madurai every day at 10.30 am and 5.30 pm until further orders imposed in the order passed in Crl.OP.No.14350 of 2026 by order dated 08.06.2026.

ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to relax the condition imposed in Crl.OP.No.14350 of 2026 dated 08.06.2026.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police strongly objected the application, however fairly conceded that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the conditions imposed by this Court.

3. Considering the submissions made on either sides and the nature of the offence, this Court is inclined to relax the condition imposed in Crl.OP.No.14350 of 2026 dated 08.06.2026. Accordingly, the condition that "the petitioners to report before the Inspector of Police, B2, Meenakshi Amman Temple Police Station, Madurai Main Road, Madurai every day at 10.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m until further orders" is modified to the effect that "the petitioners to report before the Inspector of Police, B2, Meenakshi Amman Temple Police Station, Madurai Main Road, Madurai on alternative days at 10.30 a.m and 5.30 p.m until further orders". The other conditions imposed earlier shall remain unaltered.
