(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent - Chennai Corporation, upon instructions, would state that the encroachments, as alleged in the petition, have already been removed.

2. A status report prepared by the sixth respondent - Executive Engineer, Zone 5, Greater Chennai Corporation, along with photographs, have also been placed for our perusal. We have gone through the same. We are satisfied that the grievance as raised in this petition no longer survives.

3. Accordingly, the petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
