[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to call for the records relating to the detention order passed in C.M.P.No.37/Sexual Offender/2016/M1 dated 07.11.2016 by the Detaining Authority against the detenue by name, Murugan, S/o.Kuppan and quash the same.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the Detention Order in question has already quashed by passing a G.O.Rt.No.6433 dated 22.12.2016. To that effect, a copy of the same is submitted.

3. Considering the above said factual circumstances, the relief sought for in the petition has become infructuous.
