..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, Directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to take appropriate decision based on the petitioner representation dated 12.06.2024 for issuing the separate patta in respect of the property an extent of 81⁄2 cents land in survey No.309/5A, 309/5B situated at Irumathur, Dharmapuri as per the Registered Sale Deed dated 30.09.2002 bearing Registration No.624/2002 at Sub-Registrar Office, Barur to the petitioner within a stipulated period of time as fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to dispose of the representation dated 12.06.2024 seeking separate patta in his name.

2. According to the petitioner, he purchased the land in Survey Nos. 309/5B1, 309/5A1A under sale deed dated 30.09.2002 registered as Document No.604/2002. He submitted a representation to 1st respondent on 12.06.2024 seeking issue of separate patta in his name in respect of the property covered by the sale deed dated 30.09.2002 and the said representation has not been considered by the respondents till date.

3. A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going 2/4

into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2024 and pass final orders within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing necessary notice to the parties interested.
