O R D E R
This writ petition is filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ, directing the 3rd respondent herein to provide separate electricity connection in the name of the petitioner for the first and second floor of the property being New Door No. 37, Old Door No. 18, Wouthacattan Street, Periamet, Chennai - 600 003, without insisting for latest corporation tax receipt and original title documents.
2. The petitioner is the daughter of one Kothandapani through the second wife Akkarai Kothandapani. The petitioner and the first legal heirs of the wife had a dispute with regard to the share of their property thereby resulted in the filing of the suit. Pending suit, some persons purchased the property in collusion with the legal heir and applied for eviction order. Based on the said eviction order, they damaged and destroyed the electricity connection owned by the petitioner. Though redelivery was obtained, however, the petitioner suffered undue difficulty without electricity connection which made the petitioner to submit a representations for separate electricity connection. Till date the representation submitted has not been considered and, hence the present writ petition is filed.
3. Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation to provide separate electricity connection and pass orders within the time frame stipulated by this Court.
4. Learned Standing counsel for the respondents has no serious objection for the prayer sought for by the petitioner and he submit that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law and appropriate order will be passed within the time stipulated by this Court.
5. In view of the above submissions, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation after offering opportunity to the interested persons and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
