ORDER

This transfer petition has been filed to withdraw HMOP.No.1057 of 2025 from the file of the VI Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, to the file of the Family Court, Tiruvannamalai District. 1/4

2.I have heard Mr.Dinesh Balachandran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Gopinathan, learned counsel for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel on either side would state that HMOP proceedings may be transferred to the file of the Sub-Court, Polur, though initial request made by the petitioner is for transfer the case to the file of the VI Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai. 4.The learned counsel for the respondent/husband however states that the petitioner has already been set ex-parte before the VI Additional Principal Family Court, Chennai and in fact, the matter is listed today and in view of the interim stay granted by this Court, further proceedings will not be taken in the HMOP. However, in the light of the order transferring the HMOP.No.1057 of 2025 to the file of the Sub-Court, Polur, the Sub-Court, Polur, shall decide the setting aside application, upon transfer of records, within a period of four weeks and subject to the said order, further proceedings may go on.

5.With the above direction, the Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
