O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records on the file of the respondent in his proceedings transaction reference No.E4/1034/ 2021 dated 02.09.2021 and to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondent to issue legal heir certificate of petitioner deceased cousin mother in petitioner favour.

2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is Class II legal heir of the deceased and he made application to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent for issuance of legal heir certificate. His request was rejected on the ground that the Thasildar has no power to issue legal heir certificate for Class II legal heir, citing the Circular of the Commissioner of Revenue Administration in Circular No.9 of 2019 dated 24.09.2019.

4.In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for in this writ petition.

5.The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Forum to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
