ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue legal heirship certificate, based on her representation dated 20.07.2021.

2. According to the petitioner, her husband by name Mohammed Haneef died on 14.1.2021 due to illness, leaving behind herself and her two daughters namely Balkes Noorullah and Muhe and her son namely Mohammed Jawath as his legal heirs. After the death of her husband, she applied for issuing legal heirship certificate through online on 20.07.2021 and thereafter, an enquiry has been conducted on her application. grievance of the petitioner that even though an enquiry has been conducted, till date, the legal heirship certificate was not issued to her. Hence, she made a representation to the respondents on 20.07.2021, but there is no response. Hence she has filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2021 seeking legal heirship certificate and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to her, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
