This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1790 of 2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.1790 of 2016 on 30.07.2016 under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. While so, the de facto complainant has filed the present petition with the above prayer.

4.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court directs the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1790 of 2016, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a Charge Sheet or a Closure Report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant, provided there is no any other legal impediment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
