This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in connection with Crime No.8 of 2025, pending investigation on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Perambalur District, Perambalur and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was working as Senior Manager in the second respondent's Petrol Bunk. The dispute between the parties is civil in nature. The respondents tried to give criminal colour to the civil dispute.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent-Police submitted that the petitioner, while he was working in

the second respondent's Petrol Bunk, misappropriated amount to the tune of Rs.28 lakhs. Hence, the the second respondent preferred a complaint as against the petitioner and investigation is pending.

5. On a reading of the F.I.R, it is seen that prima facie allegations are made out as against the petitioner. This Court is not inclined to quash F.I.R. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work-out his remedy before the trial Court after filing of charge sheet.

6. With the above liberty, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 03.07.2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No To
