This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 421 days in filing the criminal appeal against the conviction and sentence imposed on 14.12.2021 in Spl.S.C.No.15/2021 on the file of the Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram, (Fast Track Mahila Court) Erode.

2. Mr. S.Sugendran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice of the respondent and he did not raise any serious objection and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is in order, and list the matter after four weeks.
