ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed, seeking for early disposal of the suit O.S. No. 54 of 2021 pending on the file of the III Additional District Court, Kallakurichi.
2. The petitioner is the plaintiff in the suit O.S. No. 54 of 2021, and the respondents are the defendants. The suit was filed for partition and for a declaration that the partition deed dated 27.04.1994 is null and void. The petitioner is a senior citizen, aged 75 years.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that repeatedly the respondents have been seeking time to file additional written statement. According to her, at the stage of filing of additional written statement, the suit is pending for several years. Being a senior citizen and aged 75 years, the petitioner seeks for early disposal of the suit O.S. No. 54 of 2021 on the file of the III Additional District Court, Kallakurichi.
4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's suit. But no prejudice would be caused to any of the parties if a direction is issued to the Trial Court to dispose of the suit within a time frame to
be fixed by this Court.
5. After giving due consideration to the age of the petitioner, the year of the suit and the present status of the suit, this Court directs the III Additional District Court, Kallakurichi, to dispose of the suit O.S. No. 54 of 2021 within a period of eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents in this Civil Revision Petition, notice to the respondents is dispensed with by this Court.
