O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.Today, Ms.S.Manjula, Gr.I 1460, Gingee AWPS, Villupuram is present before this Court. On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case in crime No.12 of 2018 has been registered under POCSO Act against one Saravanan and that the petitioners who are relatives of Saravanan were asked to come for enquiry.

4.In such view of the matter, the petitioners are directed to cooperate with the police for enquiry and at the time of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conducting enquiry, the petitioners shall not be harassed. During the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, the respondent police is free to register an FIR and this order shall not be a shield for the petitioners against arrest. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
