Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to interim order dated 25.07.2019 passed by the fourth respondent in O.A.No.310/00792/2019 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to keep one post of Branh Post Master (BPM) / Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) / Dak Sevak vacant in the Nagapattinam Division.

(Order of the Court was delivered by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the interim order dated 25.07.2019 passed by the fourth respondent in O.A.No.310/00792/2019 and to quash the same and to consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to keep one post of Branch Post Master (BPM) / Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM) / Dak Sevak vacant in the Nagapattinam Division. 2.Though the petitioner has challenged the order passed in O.A.No.310/00792/2019 by which the interim order sought for was not granted, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the representation of the petitioner given during the pendancy of the present writ petition dated 18.01.2020 may be directed to be considered by respondent nos.1 and 3 as the case may be.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the aforesaid respondents submitted that the pending representation, if any, would be considered in accordance with law.

4.Considering the above, the writ petition stands disposed of directing respondent nos.1 and 3 as the case may be to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 18.01.2020 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then the interim order passed by this Court on 06.08.2019 would continue. The petitioner is also directed to give another copy of the representation to respondent nos.1 and 3 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by enclosing the same. 5.This writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions, if any, are closed.
