Respondents Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 25.06.2019, for cancelling the patta issued in the name of one Mr.Mohamud Saleem, son of Azeez, the third respondent herein, and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property bearing Old Door No.4/13, New Door No.39 (Part) comprised in T.S.No.2/5, Block No.22, L.B.Road, Adyar, Chennai - 600 020, measuring an extent of 1123 sq.ft. situate at Urur Village, Velachery Taluk. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 25.06.2019, for cancelling the patta issued in the name of one Mr.Mohamud Saleem, son of Azeez, the third respondent herein, and to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property bearing Old Door No.4/13, New Door No.39 (Part) comprised in T.S.No.2/5, Block No.22, L.B.Road, Adyar, Chennai - 600 020, measuring an extent of 1123 sq.ft. situate at Urur Village, Velachery Taluk.

2. In view of the limited relief sought for and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.06.2019, and pass appropriate orders on merit and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order, if the same is not already disposed of.
