By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to survey the petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.27/3A, measuring an extent of 0.67.0 hectare of land, situated at Ajjanaalli Village, Pennagaram Taluk, Dharmapuri District based on the petitioner application No.20250412002139 dated 10.04.2025 within a stipulated period and in accordance with law.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner purchased the subject property vide registered sale deed in Document No.3463 of 2010 dated 29.10.2010 before the SRO, Pennagaram. It is stated that patta was also mutated in the name of the petitioner in Patta No.2337 in respect to the subject property. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an online application dated 10.04.2025 before the respondents 2 and 3 to survey the subject property and paid necessary fees. The said application was not considered by the respondents 2 and 3 till date. Hence the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

4. On this being pointed out, the learned Government Advocate would 2/5

submit that they would consider the petitioner's online application dated 10.04.2025 and survey the subject property and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider petitioner's application dated 10.04.2025 and carry out survey in the subject property and complete the process within a period of 8 weeks from the date of uploading of the web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy, after giving prior notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners and other interested parties including rival claimants if any. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.
