Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to settle the medical claim amount of Rs.3,40,000/- by reimbursing the same on the basis of the resubmitted medical documents, which has been duly acknowledged on 02.02.2023 along with accrued interest thereon at the rate of 7.5% per annum as per law within a time as stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the third respondent to settle the medical claim of Rs.3,40,000/- by reimbursing the same on the basis of the medical documents with applicable interest.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner is a pensioner and his wife got admitted for her illness. The petitioner, being the pensioner, to avail Health Insurance Scheme for the pensioners which is inclusive of the spouse and in having contributed to the statutory requirement as per the Scheme apart from Joint Pension Payment Order of the family pensioner which is none other than the wife and she has to undergo Chemotherapy for over a period and further advised for Radiotherapy. Therefore, the petitioner enclosed all medical expenses along with necessary material evidence and claimed
reimbursement to the tune of Rs.3,40,000/- before the second respondent and the same has been forwarded to the third respondent and it is pending with the third respondent.
4. In view of the above, the third respondent is directed to consider the medical claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders to reimburse the medical claim within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
