This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 3 to 6 to pay interest at the rate of 12% p.a. for the belated disbursement of salary/allowances and other dues payable to the petitioner for the months of February (7 days) to July 2016 within the time fixed by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner represented that the petitioner has already received salary during last week without prejudice to her claim for interest for belated disbursement of salary and since there was delay in disbursement of salary, a direction may be given to the respondents to pay interest @ 12% p.a. for belated disbursement of salary. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioner is also prepared to give a representation to the respondents, if a direction is given to the respondents to consider her representation.
3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the respondents, along with a copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the respondents, on receipt of the same, are directed to consider the same with regard to payment of interest @ 12% p.a. for the belated disbursement of salary/allowances and other dues and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter.
